The project need
Water and wastewater teams need practical ways to record facility readings, document site visits and keep office staff and technical reviewers working from the same information. REC’s existing portal already supported daily operations; modernization builds on that established process.
What we built
- Focused reading worksheets. Spreadsheet-style entry, batched saving, calculation status, reading checks, history and values-only export.
- Guided technical setup. Named readings connect to developer-maintained calculations, with review before activation and a visual sheet-design workspace.
- Monthly review and operations. Review locking, Technical and Final sign-offs, audited corrections, plus calendars, logs, service requests and order workflows.
What it makes possible
- Context stays with the work. Reading entry, calculation explanations and layout controls share a consistent worksheet context.
- A clearer review process. Technical staff can inspect changes and track corrections through renewed review.
Where the project stands
The replacement portal is undergoing local owner review. Production conversion, reconciliation and remaining specialist reports are still ahead. The images show a synthetic training sheet; the calculation selection shown was an unsaved example. REC refers to Ramey Environmental Compliance in the existing branding; final public attribution remains under review.
